And then today we went to jump for fun like we normally do on Thursdays, and as we were leaving Chloe decided she didn't want to go and sat down on the rug in front of the door. Everyone else was already outside, so I just said, "I guess Chloe doesn't want to go. Bye-bye Chloe" and then acted like I was walking to the car. Well Evan really surprised me with her reaction. She immediately started crying (like really crying) and ran back to the door and tried to open it to go get Chloe. She couldn't open the door so she got even more upset, and turned to me like aren't you going to get her? I opened the door and said to Evan, "well go get her." So she went in and tried to convince Chloe that coming with us was probably in her best interest.

twins...
I need to record this story to have for my memories, it's not really that exciting.
The girls will be 2 in a month, and they have just started doing some funny twin stuff. I wondered if that would ever happen, but wasn't sure if fraternal twins did that. Anyway, they don't nap in the same room so that they will actually sleep, so when i go get one of them up they immediately ask about the other one. Evie usually says, "co-e (pronounced "co" as in co-pilot and "e" like e) wake?" And if one of them is crying the other usually says, "evie cying? or co-e cying" (pronounced like crying without the r). That constant concern for the other one seems to always be there even when not in the same room. It's pretty cute!

that's so funny that you blogged about this story! i seriously just told this to matt since he was asking about y'all and what we did today. it really was a sweet moment! :)
Hey Jennifer,
I loved reading this story...twins really do have a connection...we get a good amount of multiples in the NICU and its amazing how in sync they are with each other. Usually their heart rates are the same, as are their respiratory rates....they will do the same things at the same time. It's amazing when you really think about it.
